Farmers Bank Hires Senior VP for Suffolk Market

Vernon Towler joins bank staff as Sr. VP and Suffolk Market Leader

Suffolk, Va. – Farmers Bank announced that Vernon Towler has joined the bank in the position of Senior Vice President/Suffolk Market Leader.   He joins the bank after serving at RBC Centura in Norfolk.

Towler’s new position will put him in the bank’s Hillpoint office, where he will be responsible for all banking operations for the Suffolk market.  Prior to his work at RBC Centura, he was a Senior Vice President with Sun Trust Bank in Norfolk, where he handled relationship development and relationship management for a middle market portfolio of manufacturers, building contractors, service companies and government contractors.
