Farmers Bank Hires Senior VP To Head Retail Banking

Norene Phillips joins bank as Senior Vice President

Suffolk, Va. – Farmers Bank has announced the addition of Norene Phillips as Senior Vice President/Chief Retail Banking Officer.  She comes from RBC Centura where she was a regional mortgage sales manager.

Norene will be responsible for the Retail Banking, Operations and Marketing of the Farmers Bank network of branches, including product sales, product development, branch services and operations.   At RBC Centura she was a member of the senior management team in mortgage assisting in product development, operations in processing, policy, procedures and sales for the mortgage team.  Prior to her experience at RBC, she was Senior Vice President with Bank of America where she served since 1979.  Phillips will be working out of the Suffolk Hillpoint Office.
